help, is this normal?

Hi everyone, I have a question for you all. I'm not sure if you can help me with my uncertainty, but my partner and I have been trying for a baby for a while now. Every month after ovulation, my breasts get super tight and painful. It's really unbearable pain. Then I usually think, okay, my period is coming again. But this time, I'm 4 days before my expected period and this is the first time I have absolutely no breast tightness. Not even a little twinge. Does anyone here know this feeling? And what could it mean? By the way, I also have a rock-hard, bloated belly after eating, like I'm 12 weeks pregnant. But I get that regularly when my period is due.

    And do you know more by now?
    I always had sore breasts before I got pregnant, and then when I was pregnant, I didn't have any issues at all. But later during the pregnancy, I sometimes had sore breasts.

    Hey hi..

    Not yet.. I'm currently 2 days before my period. I get occasional mild cramps, but that doesn't mean anything for me since I always have them. But I have absolutely no breast pain, even though I normally have really severe pain. I did take a test early that you can do in advance, which I did yesterday. But it was negative. So I'll have to wait a bit. I just find it really strange. This is the first time I feel nothing.

    And I've been really tired since yesterday.. Normally I'm never really that tired and I don't sleep until late. I didn't even work yesterday. And yet I went to bed at 5 PM and fell asleep immediately. Took another nap today in between. But it could also be due to the weather.

    That's annoying, isn't it? Always that uncertainty. Just one more day and hopefully you'll know more.
    Just wanted to reply regarding the lack of breast pain. I've actually always had tender breasts before my period since I stopped the pill (December 2012). Sometimes right after ovulation, sometimes a few days before my period. I haven't been able to spot a pattern yet.... But coincidentally, I also had no breast pain this cycle, absolutely nothing. I was hoping that might mean something, but unfortunately, I got my period this morning
    I certainly hope this means something different for you and that you'll have a positive test soon, but it could also just mean nothing.

    Let us know if you find out more?

    Thanks for your reply.. Yeah, that insecurity just gets worse and worse pff.. But it's just a wait-and-see thing. I'm not holding on too tight because, as you said, it could just be coincidence and I could still get my period.. . That's too bad you got your period :-( Just keep hoping and stay positive. Who knows, maybe next round.. I still have to wait a bit and maybe move on to the next round. I haven't had any severe period cramps yet. But well, it could still come. I'll let you know anyway. Love
