How about you guys with stretch marks? When did they show up? Mine appeared around week 32, mostly on the right side. I think it's because the little sprout often lies on the right side too. And I have two near my belly button, hehe.

Love,
Sylvia

With the first ones, they only came in the last week, and with the second, it was really quite early I also got a pretty big belly very quickly, quite a bit of stretch marks below my navel and on my upper thighs. Luckily, it's starting to show a bit less now Oh well, a lovely memory of those beautiful little guys who are running around here now.

Hi Iza. Yeah, that's true, it's a lovely keepsake beautifully expressed

They also came suddenly for me in the last few weeks.

Do you only have them on your belly *M? Or do you have them somewhere else too? I've only had them on my belly so far

    Hi Sylvia,

I’ve got them only on my belly too. My lower belly is where I gave birth almost 6 months ago, and luckily they’re starting to fade a bit less red now.

Are you still rubbing your belly or something?
I was rubbing and it felt like they suddenly appeared very distinctly.

By the way, you have a lovely round belly in your picture.. beautiful!

Yeah, I do rub it in and I got quite a few stretch marks all at once. There were quite a lot of them at once. I thought it was pretty 'bad' at first, but now I'm like, you can't really do anything about it, and you get something special out of it

And thank you. I'll make a new photo tomorrow. This one was made about a month ago, I think so it's time for a new one

Do you also have trouble with the stretch marks? Do they itch or hurt?

    Love, Sylvia

Yes, you're absolutely right, I feel the same way. At first, I was a bit embarrassed about my belly when my husband saw it, but now I just think, "Come on, be normal, you've got a beautiful son to show for it, that's no small thing."

And you're welcome. I always find pregnant bellies beautiful to look at! It's nice to see how it grows. How far along are you now?
  9. *m #10

No, I don’t have any issues with it.
    Do you?
At first, I could feel them very clearly when I touched my belly after giving birth, but that’s getting less and less.

Yes, it's really nice to see how it's growing I'm exactly 36 weeks tomorrow. It's going by so fast!

I've been experiencing some itching lately, but as soon as I apply cream, it goes away.

    Exciting, huh.. hurry up!!
    Enjoy it while you can.

Thank you so much, and I'll definitely do that

Yes, and something that's often forgotten... also good to scrub your skin! I do that too... and I moisturize it every day.... No issues at all. Plus, I take vitamin B complex.

It’s also genetically determined. And the application is purely to keep the skin supple. You can’t prevent stretch marks. You either get them or you don’t. Some get them very early on, others even during labor. Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do...

And unfortunately, it's not wise for me to scrub my skin because I have keratosis pilaris. But indeed, a handy tip, Lenita

And thank you for the tip, gipsygirl

They’re there for me too, in my sides and on my breasts. I haven’t been able to find anything else on my belly yet. I’m slathering myself with something constantly, but I don’t believe there’s anything you can do to even prevent it. I’ve just accepted it, because if they want to come, they’ll come anyway.
  19. Lenita29 #20

Trying to prevent it doesn't work either.... I have them too, though.. on my hips and breasts and legs. They were already there. But I thought scrubbing is also nice. It removes dead skin cells well and feels smooth and soft. Additionally, it stimulates blood circulation in the skin.
