pill, period hasn't returned after giving birth

Do you breastfeed or bottle feed?
With breastfeeding, it can take longer for things to get going.
I myself bottle-fed during the first month but breastfed initially, then stopped due to circumstances, and got my period for the first time after more than 4 months.

I only got my period again after 10 months, but I was breastfeeding and at 11 weeks I had an IUD inserted.
But once that was in place, I started getting my period every month again, with cycles of 25 to 32 days, and this stayed the same until I got pregnant again, so even without the IUD.

    Okay, but that's normal then.

By chance, I got my period yesterday. 6 weeks and 1 day.

I started the pill, weird right? Hihi. As always, I found pregnancy not too bad. I stopped working in healthcare at 30 weeks, and the birth was intense and quick for a first time—8 hours, so short. I wouldn't want to do it again anytime soon. My husband and I always said we wanted two kids. I think about a year from now, a little brother or sister for Dean. He's 7 weeks old now, so first, enjoy this time.
