Will the sperm stay?

Hi ladies,

I've been reading along for quite a while and I actually have a question. I'd love to know if others experience this and if it's normal. Every time my boyfriend and I have sex, I feel like all the semen is leaking out again. Even the next day, I feel like it's slowly dripping out.
Can anyone relate to this?

    Hi anon,

I have that too, and I think it's totally normal. During ejaculation, so many sperm come out that not all of them find their way 'up'. I don't think there's anything to worry about at all. After all, only one strong sperm needs to make the journey, and even though a lot leaks out, there will still be plenty of sperm left inside you.
One thing you can do to help ensure enough sperm make the journey is to lie down for 15 minutes after sex. Ideally with your knees drawn up or with a pillow under your bottom, so the sperm are encouraged to take the right path. But even then, some sperm will still leak out, but that's really not a big deal.
    Good luck!

Hey, I have that too, so much that we often need to add a towel. I also thought you wouldn't get pregnant with that, but that's not true. I'm now 30 weeks, so a lot really comes out. It seems like he didn't put anything in, but now that I'm pregnant, I know better.

    Hi,

Yes, I have that too. I find it really annoying. I even still have it when I just stopped for a bit. And I'm glad I read this now because I was literally asking the same question.

    Best,

That puts my mind at ease, I've been thinking about this for a while and thought I'd just ask! Let's keep going cheerfully! Good luck to everyone!

It seems to be part of the deal. I'm pregnant! Maybe I can offer some reassurance from my side as well. Good luck, ladies. I hope everyone who desires a child soon has a positive test in hand.
