I'm really curious what you all think of this girl's name.

I know the name as a boy's name, spelled Donné.
I don't think it's very pretty, but tastes differ, thankfully.
And nowadays more and more names are used for both boys and girls, so I wouldn't let that put you off.

    Good luck with choosing!

    Thanks for your reply.
As a boy's name, we don't know him.
You also pronounce it as donnee and not donnie because that boy's name is well-known.

I actually find it quite a special name. Nice, indeed.

I don't think it's a name, sorry. Definitely not for a girl. It reminds me of a church minister, but that's just my personal opinion.

or donating money, donee, it also sounds a bit like that.

Donnee... I think it's a really beautiful name! It feels warm to me, but also classic...

Meaning: the given one. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I'm liking him more and more.

Felicia, this isn't normal Dutch. Pay attention to your punctuation!

What a random ad, seriously! What does that have to do with baby names?

Such a lovely name and also a beautiful meaning ('given'! I definitely think it's more of a girl's name than a boy's name.

    How funny.
