Hi there,

I haven't been very active on the site for a while because I didn't want to focus too much on trying to conceive.

But now I'm dealing with something and don't know what to do... I should have gotten my period last Monday, but nothing happened. Yesterday and today, though, I've had a little bit of brown discharge!

I took a pregnancy test, and it was negative!

But I'm not handling this uncertainty very well... Do any of you have any idea what this could mean???

    Hi ster85!

    If someone knew for sure, a lot of ladies wouldn't be left in the dark anymore! Including me!

    Unfortunately, women's bodies are really good at fooling themselves, so it could be anything: implantation, early (or later than usual) period, a burst blood vessel during sex, some old blood from the last period, or you skipped a cycle and this is the only thing coming out this month...

    Are you usually regular, or is this really an exception?

    Normally I have a regular cycle of 30 days. So this is an exception for me... and therefore completely unknown to me.

    It's not easy, girl, I know all about it. I've been unsure about whether I'm having my period or not for 9 months now..
    Unfortunately, it can happen and doesn't necessarily mean anything. I hope you still get a positive test!
