1 week overdue, pregnancy test negative

Hi everyone,

I'm one week overdue as of today. I've taken several pregnancy tests, but they're all negative. I also went to the GP, and the test there was negative too.

I don't have any other symptoms, just some abdominal pain. Does anyone have experience with this or any tips on what I can do next?

    Hi Iloontjuh85,

    That must be really frustrating. Is it true that I read one of your tests came back positive? If so, what did the GP say about that? Sometimes it takes a bit longer for a test to turn positive, but I’ve also had months where my period came much later than usual. If you had a positive test earlier and now negative ones, that’s not a good sign. There could be all sorts of things going on. I think there’s not much more you can do than wait, and maybe test again yourself. I’ve also read about people missing a period. I hope you get some clarity soon!

    @ Rj, yes, the one from Kruidvat (2 dashes), 2 days before the expected date and a week later. The rest were all negative. I just heard from my neighbor who had the same experience. She didn’t know until 4 months. We’re just waiting and seeing. As long as I don’t have any bleeding, I still have a little hope.
