On vacation with pregnancy discomforts?

Hi everyone,

We're going on holiday to Italy at the end of May. My partner and I would really like to have a second child. If everything goes well, I'd already be pregnant by the time we're on holiday. I'm currently really debating whether we should wait until after the holiday due to nausea/extreme fatigue. Because if we conceive, I'd be in week 6/7 of my pregnancy while we're away.

Is there a high chance of nausea and tiredness in weeks 6 and 7? With my first pregnancy, I was nauseous and exhausted at the start. I just don't remember exactly when that began. Would love your advice!

    Hi hi,

I was also thinking about it. We're going to Loret de Mar in August, and if you're pregnant by then, I don't think it'll be very nice. Still, I've decided to stop this month because it can take a while to get pregnant. So I've stopped now; I'm not counting on being pregnant right away, and if I am, well, then I'll just be nauseous on holiday, hahaha.

    Greetings

Just like Samantha20 says, I wouldn't assume you're pregnant just like that. After 7 months of trying, I'd do anything to get pregnant on vacation (end of June). Even if I'd be throwing up for 3 weeks in Spain, gladly!! If you want something that badly, I wouldn't let anything stop you, especially not a vacation..

I agree with both ladies about the nausea and all. I went on vacation myself last year at eight weeks pregnant. To Turkey. Once and never again so far away during pregnancy. I had complications and then you have to communicate in English with a doctor who doesn't even know English. You're emotional then and you can best express the medical things in your mother tongue. It was the third day of the vacation; we were there for two weeks. The whole vacation was a medical horror and that affected the rest of the vacation. If you've already booked and you can be patient, I'd wait until after the vacation... hopefully you find my answer helpful.

    Greetings, mamavan2
