Reaction on the name Mette

I'm pregnant with my first daughter and really want to name her Mette. I'm curious what kind of reaction this name gets. What do you all think?

    Nice name! It works well at all ages and is also a name she can confidently use when applying for jobs I'd go for it!

    A unique name. Everything has its pros and cons, but if you both think it's nice and it matches the last name well, then go for it.

    The downsides could be the rhymes, as well as the reaction to it.
    But well, you can certainly do that with a lot of names... it also depends on the dialect where you are, etc., so you'd best judge that yourself.
    Again, I think it's a nice name though. And if you feel good about it yourself and don't see too many objections, then go for it!!!!

    I would change it to Meta, it sounds more feminine.
