I do that, I'm a bit worried, I wonder why.
Had blood pressure of 120-85 yesterday
and normally it was always fine, strange???
One thing is in our favor, our miracle baby is well-positioned with head down
Sugar and iron tests, everything was good!
The midwife also said, why did you make such a fuss about that? I did too, because I had that C-section in my head... Besides, I feel good except for being tired, nauseous, and having heartburn.... well, I've had that for weeks.
And indeed, I should take it easy, don't forget, it could come in 3 weeks, but it could also take 5 more weeks, with a bit of bad luck, hehehe. -

Your top number is perfect, and the bottom number is just a tiny bit high. But really, nothing to worry about, Irma! I just measured 125-85, and the gynecologist was very happy.
Keep calm, don't let your mind wander, and enjoy the sun! You'll know more on Friday... -

It also depends a lot on the bottom number you started with. If it was always 65, then 85 is quite high, but if you started at 80, it's not such a big deal. -

I also have high blood pressure. It was always fine. Suddenly, at 27 weeks, my diastolic was too high and I even had to go to the hospital for the second time. Luckily, everything was fine there and I could go home. After that, my blood pressure was always fine again. Since last week, my blood pressure has risen again. I had to come back last Monday, but everything was otherwise fine (I just hold a lot of fluid), and now I have to come back next Friday with urine.
I have to take it easier according to the midwife; I'm doing too much. I've followed the advice and started taking it easier, and hopefully, my blood pressure will be better on Friday.
I got the advice to take it easy and drink a lot! Maybe you're also doing too much. Strength and hopefully your blood pressure will go down soon! -

My blood pressure has always been good, so it was 70/75 before. Now it's 85 and my doctor says it shouldn't go above 95!
Extra check-up tomorrow. I'm curious to see what's going on. I wonder where it's coming from.
Now that the baby has turned, I have less heartburn and nausea, and just eating small amounts helps the most.
And yes, I do have some fluid retention in my hands and fingers—I had to take my rings off—but nothing in my legs, they're normal. Doesn't every woman retain fluid?
Also, my iron and sugar levels were checked, and I was tested for a bladder infection, etc. Everything came back fine...
I'll just wait and see. Maybe you'll know tomorrow what's up. I think I've made a big deal out of it.
I really need to take it easy since I'm past 34 weeks. I just hope I don't get hospitalized. Maya, I always jump to the worst-case scenario hihi, isn't that silly? -

In December, he was high once too, but that was at the ultrasound, and that day my grandma passed away. The next time he was normal again. It’s all those things, you know, when you’re not feeling well, and especially now that the due date is getting closer—in 3 weeks it’s time, I guess. I’ve been thinking about it, and it makes me sad. She was so proud and won’t get to see it. It feels like I’m having more and more trouble with it. We had a special bond. -

Blood pressure has dropped to 120/80 on one side and 75 on the other, and the urine test was good. From now on, I'll have weekly check-ups just to be sure. Otherwise, everything is fine. -

That's great news that your blood pressure has gone down!!!
Unfortunately, mine has gone up to 145/90, but luckily everything else is fine. My blood pressure isn't allowed to get any higher, and I have to rest completely now, which is really tough.
I have to go back next Monday. If my blood pressure has gone up further, they'll talk to the gynecologist about whether I should be induced. -

My VK also had 85 on Tuesday,
can't be above 95.
But I can go back on Wednesday with extra checks, and I'm already 35 weeks, so it's speeding up
And she advised to take it easy, eat less salt, and in milk there's salt too, so better choose buttermilk. I've been helping myself quite well with heartburn....
Have they tested your urine yet, Pris?
Hope it goes down, but you're already 38 weeks too.
Well, induction isn't everything, but what needs to happen, will happen. So just wait and see.
Have a nice weekend xxx -

Yeah, I have to bring my urine sample every time. But it's always fine, luckily
Monday I'll bring another sample. They want to see me twice a week now.
For now, I'm just waiting to see what my blood pressure does on Monday.
I also hold a lot of fluid, do you have that too? I always wear flip-flops now, I can't put my shoes on anymore. -

Yeah, I’ve already got some fluid retention, but that’s actually pretty normal late in pregnancy, and my blood pressure is rising a bit too, but it shouldn’t be too high... in my fingers and stuff, and I’m noticing it in my face too.
Some people say my face is puffing up??
But my legs are fine, they’ve stayed the same so far.
No swollen ankles either... I can still fit into my own boots.
Good luck with it, girl! Hope the baby comes soon! xx
Mine’s still hanging in there for now, hehe. -

Went to the midwife last Friday, blood pressure was high again so I had to go straight to the hospital. They did some tests there, everything was fine as usual, luckily my blood pressure had also gone down and I was allowed to go home. Going back to the hospital on Wednesday (tomorrow) for a check-up. If my blood pressure is good again then, I can go back to the midwife.
It's weird how your blood pressure can fluctuate like that. But luckily everything's fine

So everything is still good, blood pressure was fine. The ultrasound and heart scan looked good too. Just a small trace of protein in my urine, but luckily that's not a big deal.
I'm allowed to go back to the midwife where I have an appointment next week if I haven't given birth by then, hehe.
Irma, was everything okay with you too? -

And pris? How are you doing? I can start working again from now on and I also have to bring my urine sample every time for safety, tomorrow at 36 weeks. -

Yes, I was induced on May 7th because my blood pressure got too high. My little girl is already 2 weeks old today, everything is going well
She's doing super!
And how are you doing? -

Congratulations! What’s her name? My due date was June 5th, but our son Dean was born at 37.5 weeks. Our water broke spontaneously, we went to the hospital, and our son was born within 8 hours—actually really fast for a first baby.
