Am I pregnant?

Hi there,

I have a question. My period started on March 15th, right on time. I’ve had a 33-day cycle for years, so I should have gotten my period again on April 17th. Instead, it came 7 days early, which has never happened to me before. My normal period usually lasts 4 days, but this time it only lasted 2 days. On Sunday, March 24th, I had unprotected sex, which was 10 days before my ovulation. I’ve read that sperm can sometimes survive for 10 to 15 days. So I’m wondering if this was actually a period or implantation bleeding, since the bleeding started exactly 7 days after my ovulation, and I never get my period early or late. Also, I would now be 3 days late if I’m not pregnant. Is there a chance I’m pregnant?

In my opinion, the chance is very slim, but to be sure, you should just take a test.

@edenjel thank you! I'll definitely do a test soon, and I'm not really thinking about having kids yet since I'm still young. Hoping for a good result!

    Hi!

I've had a Mirena IUD for 1.5 years now.
But I've been having the feeling that I might be pregnant.
I actually came to the forum because my mom asked if I was pregnant since she noticed something different about me. Later, some of my friends asked me too. Also, my belly has gotten bigger and my nipples have become larger.
I've been feeling unwell for several weeks now - stomach pain, nausea, headaches, etc.

Does anyone know what I should do?
    What do you all think?

    Hi Suusje,

Those are indeed signs of pregnancy. If you want to be sure, it's handy to take a test. I don't know exactly how long you've had these symptoms, but there are tests that can tell you early on whether you're pregnant or not. If you don't want to buy them at the pharmacy, you can also get them online (I've had good experiences with thuistesters.nl). That way, you'll know right away if you're pregnant or not. I hope this helps, and keep us updated!
