He eats so much!

Hi everyone! My son used to sleep quite long, from 8/9 pm to 6 am. And then he always had 5/6 bottles of 210 ml with 7 scoops that day. But now he's been waking up 2/3 times a night for a bottle for about a week. I don't mind that he wakes up, but I have the feeling that he's eating way too much. Because his bottles are still 210 ml with 7 scoops, but now 8 times a day. And at 12 pm he also gets a vegetable puree which he finishes completely, and after that he's still hungry so he gets a bottle where he leaves about 50 ml. My son is quite big: 9.5 kg and he's already size 74 (this is a bit too big but size 68 is way too small) and he's only 4 months old. He's not chubby or anything else, but I don't know if it's okay that he eats so much. I'm already giving him Beba, because at the health center they said that fills you up well. Now I was thinking of a night suit, but it says that's from 6 months, well he is the size of a 6-month-old baby but he's not actually that old yet. Does anyone else have tips or experience with a night suit? Greetings, Manon

    Hi Manon,

Have you tried baby food for hungry babies yet? You can also start porridge from 4 months. Then you can always make a bottle of porridge for the night if needed.

As I read it, your boy is indeed getting quite a lot. But if he's doing well with it and isn't gaining too much weight, I don't think it's a big deal. Our daughter always had reserves from birth, even though she never got too much. Every child is different and has different needs.

    Greetings, Mamavan2
