Negative and positive test

Hey everyone, I'm having a tough moment right now. My period is late, so I did a pregnancy test and it was positive. My boyfriend and I wanted to know how many weeks along we might be, so I did a Clearblue test, which came back negative. And I still haven't gotten my period. Does anyone know what's going on and which test should I trust?

Hey Chelsey, what a weird situation. I’d personally wait a bit longer, until your period maybe comes, and if not, do another test but from a different brand. Good luck! -

How long have you been overdue? Sometimes your cycle can take a bit longer than usual. Or just go to the doctor for a blood test, and you'll be sure! -

Don't know how long I've already been without my period, but it's been around 5 weeks now. I've got a lot of cramps and, well, I'm sitting on it because there's one positive and one negative test. I'll just wait a little bit longer... -

Hi Chelsey,
Did you try another test already? It's possible that you need a higher hCG level for the CB test. Since it goes up every 3 days, you could try testing again. And try the Kruidvat and CB tests again. If you get two different results again, just call your doctor and explain the issue. They'll probably be able to do a pregnancy test or a blood test for you.

Yeah, I have the bad news that I got my period today. So we'll have to try again. The ovulation test was wrong, then.
