Big age gap between the first and second child

Hi Nova. I'm currently expecting my first. The age difference between me and my sister is 8 years. We've always been good friends. She now has two sons with an age gap of 8 years as well. Her oldest son helps her a lot with the little one and is sweet to his brother 
The oldest used to be very clumsy and didn't have good grades at school. But since his brother was born, he's become much more responsible. He now feels that he's a role model for him.
I also want two kids, but with a smaller age gap. I'm 32 now and just starting with the first. I don't see myself being pregnant at 40.
