Hi Marijke, welcome! It's always nice to have a maternity care nurse on the forum! I've got a question about maternity care right away. I'm currently 31 weeks and 3 days pregnant. So far, I haven't heard anything about my maternity care, except that they received my registration and confirmed that I'm registered. I registered through my health insurer around 3 or 4 months ago. Their website says they'll contact you between weeks 28 and 32 to make an appointment, but it does seem like it's taking quite a while now. Thanks in advance, best wishes, RJ

Hi RJ, thank you! I'll do my best to answer your questions as much as possible.

In principle, your maternity care provider should reach out to you for an intake conversation. For us, this usually happens around the 28th week. Since your due date is getting closer, I'd suggest giving your maternity care provider a call to ask when the intake conversation will (can) take place. Good luck with the birth and maternity care!
