Hi everyone! I'm new here. My partner and I really want to have a baby together!
We've been trying since early February... I read pregnancy forums almost every day and it just seemed like a lot of fun to chat with you all for once.

I've been having a lot of discomfort in my ( . ) ( . ) (which I also get before my period…), with a very bloated belly and stomach, fatigue, lots of crying :', the smell of cigarettes makes me nauseous, cramps in my lower abdomen, and back pain.
I haven't gotten my period yet this month, which usually happens around the 28th, 29th, 30th, or 1st. So it could still happen…

But now, 3 days ago, I experienced something really strange…
After trying… I lost A LOT of blood (like I was injured).
Before that, I hadn't had anything at all, not even a drop on my underwear.
It stopped right away after that and I didn't bleed anymore. It was bright red, and usually when I get my period, it starts with a little bit of dark brown blood and lasts for 5 days.
I took a test this morning, but it came back negative… It's making me feel so unsure!
What could it be? Best wishes

    Bleeding after sex can be due to a burst blood vessel in the uterine wall, and doesn't necessarily have anything to do with a possible pregnancy.
    But... have you gotten your period yet? And if not, have you taken a test? Exciting stuff

    Thanks for your reply. I had read quite a bit online, so I guess that's probably what it is then, yes

    As you can see above, I took a pregnancy test on the 30th. After 5 minutes I hadn't seen anything, so I put the test aside and didn't look at it again. Out of curiosity, I checked it the next morning and suddenly I saw a faint second line! I later found out that you're officially not supposed to read the result after 15 minutes, and I have no idea if this appeared within that 15-minute window.

    I still haven't gotten my period. This morning I took another pregnancy test, and sure enough, within 5 minutes the second line was visible and clearer than before!

    Hi Charlotje, your story sounds familiar to me. I also had some bleeding after sex. It happened when I went to the toilet afterward, and I also felt nauseous right after. I'd never had this before. Two days later, it happened again—bleeding during a toilet visit after sex. A week later, I got a positive pregnancy test For me, this was the first sign that made me think something might be going on inside. And regarding the test, it was the same for me. The test wasn't positive within the reading time, but later in the day it was, just not very clear. Hopefully, you'll also get a positive test in your hands one of these days. Good luck!

    Hi Charlotje, I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant The story I described above was from when I tested positive for this pregnancy. I found the bleeding so strange that I was even scared of an STI or something, but that was practically impossible, so hope for a pregnancy arose. And then those vague tests, nerve-wracking How are you doing otherwise? Reading your posts, you got pregnant so quickly, which makes it feel even more unreal sometimes. We were also pregnant the same month, couldn't believe it would happen so fast. Enjoy it, lots of lovely moments are coming up!

    oooo wow al 24 weeks.. congratulations! sounds lovely!
    Yeah, I still find it weird, the bleeding then... but now I'm just happy to be pregnant and really want to enjoy it. I really have to get used to the hormones, I notice my body changing! wow, it's amazing & also beautiful that something like this can happen.

    Yeah, it all went really fast. Started on February 14th, then had my period at the end of the month. And March was it! Now about 8 days late.
    And you got pregnant quickly too, wow
    How are you feeling now??

    Called the clinic today and I have an appointment on April 29th for an intake talk. Exciting!

    I had bright red bleeding for 4 days starting on day 5 of my ovulation. I’m not supposed to get my period until next week (I have no idea what’s going on).

    It could be implantation bleeding...
    Did this happen after 'doing chores' or just spontaneously?
    How long did the bleeding last?

    Hi ladies, I have a question.

    I'm 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant now, but I've had bleeding since last Thursday. Bright red and then dark red. At times it's a lot, other times it's less. It goes away and then comes back. I don't understand it at all. I can only go to the doctor next Monday, and waiting is really getting to me. Does anyone have experience with this? Has anyone else experienced bleeding in early pregnancy? I never even need to change my panty liner in a day. It's only when I wipe after using the toilet.

    I hope to hear from someone soon.

    Hi girl,
    Just wanted to share what I went through.????
    When I had a miscarriage, it started brown, then turned black, and then bright red, and it was accompanied by a lot of pain.
    So I hope yours is just a burst blood vessel. Xxx
