What do you think of this boy's name?

I know a guy and his name is Eeg. I really had to get used to it at first! Still a bit, actually. I find it really odd that someone can have such a name.
It's not necessarily that I would name my son that, but the longer and more I interacted with this person, the more I came to appreciate the name. I find it unique and special. I don't know anyone else with that name. He does have a long last name though, which makes the whole thing fit together quite well. Really find it unique. What do you all think?

    If I'm allowed to give my honest opinion... I'm not really into it. I find it a bit of a bland name, not tough or sweet or anything like that.
    But luckily everyone has different tastes, so go with what you think looks nice and gives you a good feeling.

    Looks a bit like an abbreviation?

    I knew someone named Jay, and I was like, what kind of name is that and how do you pronounce it? But you do get used to it, indeed.

    I know someone who calls themselves Eegwhard, I think that name is quite nice too..

    you should do what you really like hearing, haven't heard it yet, but I do like a name that you don't hear often

    Irma has a point with that abbreviation. It sounds just as unnatural as Eegwhard. Why choose a name that you'll have to spell or explain every time? Just look for a nice, recognizable name. Eegwhard really feels like a joke to me. You might as well go for something similar that actually sounds good.
