Hi Dorien,

I remember after my pregnancies that I really enjoyed having my legs massaged by the beautician/pedicurist. Maybe you could offer a wax treatment as well? Most moms don't really feel like getting in the shower and doing it themselves at the end of their pregnancy or right after giving birth, but I can imagine that if they've taken the time to come to you, a leg wax would feel pretty nice.

Just be careful with massaging varicose veins, though. I have my own massage practice, and unless you're specifically trained to do varicose vein massages, it's best to avoid massaging them because you could cause more damage to the veins. They're already fragile, and massage can make them worse.

Good luck with your practice!

    Hi Iza

Thanks for your tip, it's totally great. I'll look into whether I can find a resin course and if it can also be added. I already ordered a camping bed so that young mothers can take their little ones with them; they can be placed down calmly and safely in the space

You're absolutely right about massaging varicose veins. If you have them, you definitely shouldn't massage too hard. I see that my information snippet was also incorrect; it should be about prevention and combating fluid buildup. If you already have varicose veins, I can't do much about it, but if they're not there yet, a massage can stimulate blood circulation, which brings more oxygen to help with the formation and repair of cells and removes waste products. Thanks for your sharp comments.
