A bit dirty..

Hi everyone, I have a little problem.. My mom is a very sweet person, and I love being there. But I only have 3 months old son, and the problem is that it's quite dirty there. She also has 5 dogs, 3 of which are not exactly house-trained. And she works full-time, so she doesn't have much time to clean. People also smoke inside (not when we're there though), but there's never a window or door open, so all the smoke just hangs there. Plus, with 5 dogs and a cat (that scratches anything that moves even slightly), I just don't feel comfortable staying there for long, especially now that my son wants to play more on the floor (he always gets upset if you hold him too long). We live about 2.5 hours away from her, so it's not like we can just pop by for an hour; we usually stay longer. And my mom doesn't have enough money to come to us every month, and if she does come, she can only stay for 2 hours, otherwise the dogs are alone too long. I don't really know what to do because I don't feel good about staying there for long with my son because I'm worried it's not good for him, but I also don't want to hurt my mom, she doesn't deserve that. But I know that if I were to sleep somewhere else, she would be very upset about it. What would you do? Love.
