I'm hesitating about Nena, isn't that a bit too German?

    I personally don't see anything wrong with the name Nena.
    And if you mean the singer Nena of "99 Red Balloons" as being too German, then just listen to that song again. It makes you happy.
    You could also go with Nina, it's more common. But your girl can be unique, right?

    I think Nina is a lot less appealing; it also doesn't compare to Nena. Indeed, it comes up way too often and sounds childish.
