Hi, this makes me so insecure.
Stopped the pill a month ago, got my period, then nothing.
I counted 28 days before my period would come back.
Now I'm 3 days late, with symptoms and white discharge (sorry).
Last night I woke up feeling nauseous, like I was going to throw up. Felt a bit scary. This morning I had to vomit again, ugh. I wanted to take a test tonight, but I'm not really brave enough.
Can anyone help me!

    scared that it's negative, and maybe that the doubts are coming, it's weird, while we really want it

    Hi sweetheart,

    You're not protecting yourself by not taking a test. If you're not pregnant, the disappointment will hit just as hard when your period finally starts.

    By putting it off, you're just staying in limbo. Just pop by the pharmacy or somewhere and buy a test. Then you'll know.

    P.S. Read the title of your question again. I think it screams 'pregnant'.

    I can see how disappointing it must be to get a negative test, but right now you're also stressed because you just don't know what to expect...
    My boyfriend and I have been trying since September and I've taken a test every month because I thought I was pregnant every month.

    For me, the symptoms were all in my head....

    Good luck with whatever decision you make. Keep us updated?

    I get that you're scared of that. And doubts come and go, that's totally normal. But now you're driving yourself crazy with insecurity. That doesn't feel very nice either. I'd take a test for a bit. Good luck, girl.

    Either you did something wrong, or the test was expired..?
    What did the date say?
    Normally you should hold the test under the urine stream for 5 seconds, and then wait a certain number of minutes depending on the test before reading the result.
    If you collect urine, I think you still need to dip the tip end into it, but I can't say for sure.

    hi poesh. they're valid until 2015,
    maybe i didn't hold it long enough,
    so i want to catch it now, but on the packaging it says
    then you only dip the absorbent end of the test stick
    for 20 seconds into the collected urine.
    it's a kruidvat test

    Yeah, I hope so too, feeling nervous haha, don't need to pee yet.
    My boyfriend was disappointed this morning because he was invalid, and he has to work, too bad he just can't wait, so impatient, pff, I already told him it could also be negative, and I'm so afraid of disappointing him. By the way, I have a stomach ache, hope my period doesn't come through.

    did another test and this time it worked,
    but unfortunately negative. I already thought, too bad, now just wait for my period.

    Oh, that's so sad!
    The symptoms could be from coming off the pill, but that's not usually as intense as feeling really nauseous.
    Well, it's still possible. Just wait calmly for your period to come. If it doesn't show up after 5 days, I'd say take another test

    Hey lady89, don't lose hope! I got a positive result only after a week past my due date. It could have been a late implantation, so just stay positive. If you get your period, just keep going. That's what I did

    Hi Esra. I don't know, I've had period cramps a lot today, but there's still nothing to see, and the test was clearly negative. I just stopped the pill a month ago. I'll wait and see, otherwise just go to the next cycle!

    @lady; you could still be pregnant.. But you could also just have a very long cycle. E.g. 35 days..
    So try to stay calm, I know this is easier said than done. But try to think that it might just be a long cycle, assume that, then the disappointment will be less big.
    And if not, you can take a test again tomorrow or on Monday...
