How long have you been trying?

Hey mamas!!

Just a quick question: how long did it take most of you to get pregnant if you were already pregnant before...
Can it theoretically happen as early as month 1?

Cheers

    Hi there,

I stopped the pill in September, had my withdrawal bleed after that, and got pregnant right away! I'm now 19 weeks and 2 days.

    Love,

@ikke: it's definitely possible that you could get pregnant right away after stopping your rules!
Of course, that's not always the case. I think it's hard to really determine an average.

My gynecologist advised me to try for 9 months if my cycles are fairly regular. If I have very irregular cycles, she suggested visiting her after 6 months to check if I'm ovulating and possibly supporting it with medication.
But often it takes about 6-12 months before you get pregnant.
No one can predict how it'll go for us. I'm stopping the pill next month, and I could either get pregnant right away or face a long period of trying to conceive.

    Hi Iki,

Yes, I got my period right after my pill (menstruation). After that, nothing more.
