Hi everyone!

I gave birth to a lovely little girl this afternoon. Everything is going well, I just lost a bit too much blood so hopefully I can go home with the little one tomorrow. Papa is very proud of her too!

Love, Hartje

Yeah, the next day I was finally allowed to go home. The maternity nurse left yesterday after 10 days, and I’m actually quite happy to be alone with Dayenna.

I had a little question.. After giving birth, you’re really only supposed to shower, but when can you take a nice warm bath? I’m really looking forward to that

    Love, sweetheart

Hey sweetheart, so glad everything is going well and that you're enjoying yourselves!

You'd better wait a bit longer before taking a bath! Especially if you're still bleeding, it's not allowed, and I think they recommend waiting until 6 weeks postpartum due to infection risk... Baths have a lot of bacteria, so you'll have to wait a bit longer! You'll enjoy your bath so much more then!

    Love, Lynn
