Long string of mucus

Just a quick question for the pregnant ladies.
I found out yesterday that we're pregnant. Totally lovely, of course, after 6 rounds.
Anyway, I had sex this morning and later when I went to the toilet, there was a long, clear stringy discharge (no blood) coming from my vagina.
Does anyone know what this is?
Love,

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I know that white stringy stuff isn't anything to worry about, but what it actually is... most likely vaginal discharge you produce during sex along with your partner's semen. Enjoy your pregnancy!

That mucus plug is nothing to worry about!
It's normal for a mucus plug to form at your cervix during pregnancy—it's basically a protective barrier for the baby. It might get worse as your pregnancy progresses, but that's completely normal. Just make sure it's white or clear and that there's no severe itching, which could indicate a fungal infection. Also, it shouldn't change color, as that might also suggest an infection. So no worries! Enjoy your pregnancy!

    You're welcome, dear!
That's the easy part of being on a forum, right?
    Enjoy your pregnancy!
    Love, Ster
