Hmm, I still don't really understand what happens to the sperm that doesn't penetrate the egg. I get that if one sperm reaches the egg, fertilization happens, etc., but does it come out in your urine, disappear in your body, or just come out of your vagina without you noticing?

P.S.: Ju-11-12, thanks for that too. You took out a lot of information, but it wasn't really my question.

    Hi hi, I’m finally back!!
I couldn’t log in for a while and of course I’ve been wondering so much how everyone is doing!!

About this topic, I watched the documentary "How Life Begins"
from the moment the sperm starts moving until the birth, you see everything that happens in your body.
It’s really worth seeing, even with the future dad.

Why do you want to know so badly, Lara? Hi hi... I never would have thought to dive into that myself! Sperm only lives for a few days... After that, it dies and is just absorbed into your body, I guess, until it's nothing anymore! Good luck with your search!

    Love, Lynn

Yeah, I'll wait it out, girl! Talk soon!!

    Hugs

I totally get you! It took me 11 months during my first pregnancy, and I dove deep into everything related to it! I never really thought about what happens to the sperm if conception doesn't happen! I didn't mean it that way, girl! And I really hope you get pregnant soon!! I've been dealing with this a lot myself, and I think a lot of women who want to get pregnant do too!

How are you and your girl Olivia Anna doing? Glad you're back!

    Love, Lynn

I thought this sperm just gets dissolved in your body? They're proteins after all. And your body doesn't see these proteins as its own, so your body thinks: hey, clean up this mess! (white blood cells and all that). That's at least what I once learned in biology class

It gets eaten up by white blood cells.

What happens when he finishes for the first time?

I think it might go away with the period again, so it gets cleaned out of the body along with the menstrual flow. But that’s just what my husband suggested. I think it could work. Greetings, Loes

It was so funny during dinner with a Mona dessert that I let my husband think about your question. Greetings, Loes

    Hi,

I have exactly the same question. How long does sperm survive in a woman's uterus? And if you have sex in the weeks before you've ovulated and sperm has entered your vagina, is there any disadvantage to that? Can you still get pregnant?

Dead sperm leaves your body with your urine. But if you don't clean the beginning of your womb with your finger, some sperm will still remain there.

Can that happen? If a man has no sperm cells in his semen, can he still have kids?
  13. roosje Guest #14

No, you can't get pregnant because my husband also ejaculates, and then we have sex again. If he doesn't ejaculate inside you, you can't get pregnant. I've been doing this for 3 years and haven't gotten pregnant, so don't worry. If he ejaculates outside you, the sperm cells die. I have experience with this; I used to think otherwise too.

Jasmine, do you mean if there are no sperm cells in the semen? Then you can still get pregnant, but that would be a medical route.

Check this out for some info about Tese/Pesa/Mesa, maybe it's helpful for you:

Roosje, you can also get pregnant from pre-ejaculate. Your husband doesn't have to ejaculate inside you for you to get pregnant.

I've had unprotected sex for a few days. I have an IUD, but now I'm wondering how long it takes to notice if you're pregnant. I know the chance is small with an IUD, but my boyfriend likes to joke about it. I know that if he ejaculates inside me, I should go to the toilet afterward. But I also know I don't just pee everything out... So what happens to the sperm if you have an IUD and the sperm can't reach the egg?

Then your child will grow up just like me!!!
  17. k Guest #18

I think the sperm cells that die are shed along with the egg cells that die during your period, you know, from your body.
  18. F Guest #19

The leftover sperm is recycled by the body into proteins and fats.
Everything that didn't result in fertilization.
    Cheers.

What happens to sperm during pregnancy in your uterus?
