Scared of disappointments

I have a normal cycle and have been on the pill since October/November.
Always got my period on time.
The first week of January I had a 2.5-day bleed (period).
It felt shorter than what I'm used to, but that's okay.
Had sex on Sunday.
And Thursday suddenly had some days of old blood, no red tint (sorry for the details).
Since today I've had this stomach ache and feel nauseous.
I'm also scared it'll turn out to be nothing and I'll be disappointed.

You can't help but secretly wonder and hope, of course
I hope along with you that it worked out!
By the way, I had some weird cycles for a while after I stopped the pill and often wondered if I was pregnant... but we weren't trying yet back then! Your body gets a bit confused when you stop taking hormones.
