Period after miscarriage.

Hi ladies,

I was curious about your experiences with the first period after a miscarriage. How soon can I expect it? The midwife said it could come back according to my normal cycle right away, but it could also take 5 or 6 weeks. How does it work for you?

    My first period after my miscarriage (in May last year) didn't come until more than 6 weeks later. After that, it fluctuated a few times between 5 and 7 weeks, and I was pregnant again 5 months after my miscarriage!!! But when I look at my friend, she already had her period 4 weeks after her miscarriage and then didn't have another one; she was immediately pregnant with her daughter, who is now almost 1 year old. You see, it can vary a lot. Just wait, don't stress too much, good luck!

    Hi my little group, after my miscarriage, my first period was exactly like it was with my old cycle, a 28-day cycle. The period itself wasn't quite like it used to be; it only lasted for 1 day, and I only had brown discharge for the 2 days before. This was also my last period, as I became pregnant right after. I did have a lot of bleeding during the miscarriage, and Gean mentioned that it was going very slowly. Maybe because of all that bleeding, I had a much lighter period. I think it's different for everyone. Love,

    I had a miscarriage on January 4th at 10 weeks. On February 5th, I got my period again.
