Hi everyone,
I gave birth to a healthy baby boy almost 9 months ago. But I have a question: do you think this is normal after pregnancy? Two weeks ago, I had some blood on the toilet paper—it was vaginal and it smelled (sorry for the details). And now, for a few days, I've had a lot of discharge.
Did you experience this after pregnancy too? Is it normal?

I went there, but he just thought it was all normal and kind of danced around the subject, like he wasn't taking me seriously.

That doesn't sound like normal postpartum bleeding. A foul-smelling discharge could indicate an infection. If your GP didn't listen to you, contact the out-of-hours service or call your midwife directly to get a new appointment. You deserve to be taken seriously. Get properly checked out.
