Hi,

We found out last week that we're expecting our second child. We're only 6 weeks along, but we're already on the hunt for a name. We have a son named Niek. We'd love a name (boy/girl) that fits well with it. Something short and strong. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Best, Madelon

That was me! I really like these names; they're so cool and tough for a boy!

I agree, they're really nice names, but we know people with those names, so we find them a bit less appealing :S Anyway, thanks!

    Hi,
For a boy, I'm looking for a tough-sounding name. I think these are pretty tough boy names:
    Robin
    Rens
    Casper
    Jesse

For a girl, I like these:
    Blossom
    Isabella
    Laurel
    Beau
    Ploon

    Best regards

It occurs in Arabic/Turkish, but also in Old Frisian, where you pronounce the 'a' longer, and in Arabic, you double the 'm'! We have the Frisian version! It means "clever of spirit" (smart) and in Arabic, it means "guardian of life"!

Our little boy is named Marten, still so beautiful!

    Our sons were named:

    Ivo and Thymen

Pretty tough-sounding, yet also quite easy to pronounce.
We thought these were perfect names for our sons!
