cyst on ovary

Hi! I'm 9 weeks pregnant now and went to the gynecologist 2 weeks ago. Everything was fine, we heard the heartbeat, we were super happy, but she told me I had a 7cm cyst on my ovary!! She said that's normal and it should decrease on its own by 12 weeks!! She also said she wasn't going to drain it because that increases the risk of miscarriage!! Now I'm a bit worried!! Has anyone experienced the same?

    Yes, that's right. It's totally normal. It's due to the hormones. For me, it was completely gone by around 12 weeks. So don't worry.
