Do you use or not use a baby monitor?
If yes, what kind do you have and why not?

Looking forward to responses, we are looking around a bit.

We have an Alecto for the oldest and an Avent for the youngest. At first, we had two Alectos because we were told they wouldn't interfere with each other, but it didn't work out very well (the one for the youngest kept losing signal). We're very happy with both baby monitors! I find it really nice when the baby monitor shows the temperature.

Got Alecto again here, indeed with songs, temperature and some other little features With the previous kids I always had a baby monitor... I find that a nice idea, especially with such a little one...

We bought the Aldi baby monitor here... my friends had one from there the year before and were very happy with it..
You can see the room temperature both on the main unit and on the baby unit that's with us.. it also projects little stars on the ceiling as a night light and can play soothing music...

We've got 3 of them by now! I gave one to my mom where our girl will spend a lot of time.. and we keep one in the diaper bag for when we visit family like my dad, father-in-law, or mother-in-law, or when we're at the meter station where there's a crib everywhere So if our girl wants to sleep, we can just take out the baby monitor, or of course if she's spending a night on vacation with one of the family members

@dreams can come true, is that still available at Aldi, and what was the purchase price... do you maybe have a photo?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Rewana,
No, he's not here anymore.. I paid 15-20 euros for him then.. But they keep coming back regularly. I'll take a photo tomorrow, I'm not home right now.. Love

I use the free Babyfoon by Annie app. I'm really happy with it. It does a lot of things and doesn't interfere. Also great for taking on vacation. I find it so funny to see my one little one drifting off to sleep to a lullaby from my own playlist, while I can send the other one to bed again because he comes out saying he "wants a drink/had a bad dream/sees monsters"

Hi, that app isn't completely free. It's free to download, but you have to pay for some extras. But it's definitely worth it! I have Annie's baby monitor app myself too. Really nice app! I often check if my little boy has lost his dummy. But I also love watching my sleeping little monster. The TV is barely on anymore

We only have a small house, 2 rooms and single-story, so I didn't think it was necessary, a baby monitor. Are there more people who don't have a baby monitor?

It really depends on your own situation which one is most convenient for you. We bought one with a camera and recording function. It was quite an expense, but it's really nice to be able to watch videos from the night again. Here they explain the differences well. best baby monitor
