Getting a regular cycle

After a cycle of 7 weeks, I got my period after all. I kind of expected it, but it's still disappointing. Does anyone have tips on how to get my cycle regular again? Are there certain homeopathic remedies or foods/drinks that can help? And are there people who have experience with an irregular cycle and got pregnant 'easily'?

Love,

If it's your first cycle after stopping the pill, it's not that weird, really. I had a 10-week cycle back then. The one after that was already 33 days without any special diet or homeopathic stuff. Then 37 days, and this one is probably 35 days. I'm now taking Etos fertility pills and evening primrose capsules. They say these should regulate your cycle, but I don't have enough experience with them yet to say for sure.

But I know how frustrating it is to have to wait... and wait and wait!

If this isn't your first cycle and you've already had several that were this long, I'd see your GP if I were you. They say a year of "coming off the pill" is normal... Personally, I think that's way too long! Have you taken the step to want to get pregnant? You definitely don't want to sit and wait a whole year, especially when it seems like everyone around you is getting pregnant!

    Good luck!

It's indeed the first cycle after my contraception, but since I used to have irregular periods and there's all sorts of stuff on the internet saying that you're less fertile then, etc., it's making me a bit nervous. And indeed, everyone around me seems to suddenly get pregnant without trying too long. And no one has the same experience as I do. My sister got regular periods right after the pill and was pregnant after the 2nd cycle. I'm now also taking pregnancy vitamins with folic acid. You know, the same as Etos pregnancy stuff. Should I start taking it right after my period or only when I'm pregnant?
    Thanks

So relatable! I had my IUD removed a few weeks back and I'm also waiting for my period to return. I think the best thing is to just let it go, and then it'll happen faster than you think! I'm trying to do that too, but whether it works is another story. It's tough when you really want something!

Then I can understand that, if you were also irregular before... You read that there's almost never ovulation after more than 6 weeks... I'd get really nervous about it too! You should already be taking folic acid beforehand, but I think your vitamins are specifically for pregnant women...? Not sure if it makes a difference though... I started taking the pregnancy pills when I was on my period.

You seem to have ETOS tablets for 'getting pregnant' and they're supposed to make your cycle a bit more regular. But... I don't have any personal experience with them, so I can't say how or if they work.
