Engorgement/sore breasts

Congratulations on your baby! I have no idea, because I didn't have any issues after those first days in the beginning. But "normally" you have a regular check-up around day 10, so maybe that has something to do with it? I'd call the midwife, she's available for questions up to 6 weeks postpartum (in NL). Good luck!

Definitely give your midwife a call. Also, keep an eye out for any hot spots on your breasts, as that could indicate an infection. You definitely don't want that. Usually, it should start to improve after those first few days, especially since you're bottle-feeding. Keep a close watch on it, dear, and enjoy your little one.
