Does the ovulation test stay positive for a week after ovulation?

It's possible that your egg hasn't ovulated yet. Or maybe it did (and you measured a peak). And now you're trying again... I had this myself last cycle too.
LH is always in your body, so those tests will always show a line. That's why the line also needs to be really dark or darker than the control line for a positive result. Were your tests from last week really that dark?
(You could also be pregnant. Since ovulation tests can also react to the hCG hormone. This can only be confirmed if you take a pregnancy test).

I actually had just as dark a line on Tuesday/Wednesday as the control line! I thought this morning I'd do it for fun (pee on a stick is an addiction haha) and it's showing positive again, I was like huh? So I'm curious, it's the first time I've experienced this myself! Weird, but we'll see, funny that that can indeed happen.
I did hear that an ovulation test can react to hCG, but I think it's too early for that? I can only test with a pregnancy test from December 7th onwards, so I have to wait patiently a bit longer.. waiting is so long, haha

Ah yes, Tue/Wed is still too early for a pregnancy. Good luck. I'm curious what the outcome will be
