Dex of Dax

We're torn between Dex and Dax. We think Dax looks nicer on paper, but we're wondering if we'd actually want to pronounce it as Dex. What do you all think? Can Dex be pronounced as Dax?

    I’d really say Dax for Dax.
    So if you want the pronunciation to sound like Dex, I’d really go for Dex.

    I’d always say Dax for Dax, not Dex. And I personally find Dex nicer.
