First check-up with the gynecologist during pregnancy

AnonymousGuest ·
I've been pregnant for a few weeks now and have my first appointment with the gynecologist coming up soon. I already know they'll do a vaginal ultrasound, but I'm wondering what other tests they'll do. Is it similar to a regular check-up, or do they do more or less? Will they also check my breasts?

What did your partners do during the appointment? Would my boyfriend be allowed to stay for the whole check-up? It's his first time at a gynecologist's office, and he's secretly interested in seeing how things go during my appointments. I think he might even want to peek over the doctor's shoulder, but that might make the doctor feel a bit uncomfortable.

In my case, my breasts have never been checked, and I’ve never even heard that they do that. Seems pretty private to me Your partner can just be there, after all, it’s also his baby

    Thank you!
What exactly did the doctor do?
I'll let my partner know he's welcome to follow along

As long as the Corona regulations allow it, of course I'm getting an ultrasound, but I don't remember exactly what else they're asking for. My youngest is almost 4 now. Maybe someone else can help you with that, or just calmly wait
