For a boy, I think Alexander/ Alexandre is really nice, what do you all think of that?
For a girl, I think Jolien is really nice, what do you all think of that?

I'd write the boy's name as Alexander. I think it's a bit too long myself, so I'd go for Alex, Alec, Xander, Lex, Lander, etc. as a nickname. But otherwise, it's not bad!
I think Jolien is a lovely name! In that vein, you might also like: Karlijn/Carlijn, Cathelijne, Jolijn, Jolet, Josien, Felien, Joanne, Sabine, Sabien, Marijn, Marije, Marijne, Merlijn, Merleyn
