Babbles
Scared that I'll burden my child with the problems from my past
HQtje
For years, I convinced myself that I wasn't allowed to have children. No matter how much I wanted to. Because with my past (eating disorder, depression, ...) I was afraid my children would end up as broken as I was.
Last week my eldest daughter turned 10. And I'm a completely different person than I was all those years ago. I now know that my children have a better start in life and are stronger than the children of parents whose lives went smoothly. Because they learn from my struggles.
How much I would have given to have known (and especially felt!) that all those years ago. That's exactly what I'm currently developing: support for (expectant) mothers who feel the same way.
Does this sound familiar to you, and can you spare half an hour of your time? Then I'd really love to have a chat with you. Because if you're willing to share with me how it is for you and what you need, I can make my program even stronger. In return, I'll give you three golden tips to immediately boost your confidence as a (expectant) mother.
