What do you think of the name Maj?

Hi! We're looking for a name for our first daughter (and first baby!)! I'd like a Scandinavian name, Kevin prefers a short one. We'd rather avoid common names, since we both have those in our generation, and we want something more unique for our daughter. But not too complicated either. We came across the name MAJ. Short, Scandinavian (Swedish), not very common, and not too difficult (we think). But now: what do others think... What do you all think of the name Maj for a girl? The pronunciation is exactly as it's written (or if it's easier to read: Mai). And if you don't like it, do you have another idea? That would be great too! Thanks! Greetings, Lisa & Kevin
