Symptoms but negative test

Hi

Quick question!
I ovulated 9 days ago and I feel like I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms… a lot of lower back pain, very sensitive breasts mainly on the sides (I never have this normally, not even during ovulation or before my period), a lot of cramps, yesterday even diarrhea and a nauseous feeling all day with very little appetite. Lots of twinges in my ovaries and uterus too.
I did an early pregnancy test this afternoon because I was almost convinced I was pregnant, but it was negative. Of course I know I tested a bit early, but because I feel so much, I was almost sure I would have enough detectable HCG in my urine.
I also tested positive last month 2 days after my NOD with a faint line because I had sensitive breasts and thought I'd test to see. But a week later it went wrong unfortunately.
This month the symptoms really seem 10x worse compared to last month with the MC, and that even a few days before my NOD… what do you think I feel so pregnant but I also read so often that your body can play tricks on you sometimes...

Love

    Hi Julie,

Hard to say. As you yourself say, your body can play tricks on you. At 9dpo, it's often progesterone that causes these symptoms. Also, since you've tested and it's still negative, your symptoms are likely due to rising progesterone. Often, you only start developing symptoms after you test positive or have produced enough hCG.

Who knows, maybe you'll implant today if it's meant to be, and you could test again in 2 days . (Implantation usually happens around day 9) Theoretically, you could get pregnancy symptoms after that.

I also have more symptoms after ovulation in one cycle than in the other. And when you're focused on it, you start noticing everything anyway.

I'm curious. Hopefully, you'll have a nice test in a few days
