Hi everyone.
We've been trying for our first baby for over 5 years now. I just took a pregnancy test, and I thought I saw (very faint) a line.
Do you see it too?
Thanks in advance!

    Oops, sorry, double photos

Sorry girl, I don't see anything.
How far along are you for the scan?
Maybe test again in 2 days?

    Hi mom of a boy,
Thank you for your reply! The rest probably thinks I’ve gone crazy, haha! I can’t blame them either. After all these years, you might get a bit crazy too.
I have an irregular cycle. I was already expecting my period, but maybe I should wait a bit longer. I really thought I’d see something.

Aaah sorry Nina, I don't see anything either For now I'm interpreting it as negative.

Thanks for your reply, sisss! It's so nice that effort is being made.
I do consider him negative . Back to the next round then!

Wow, that's intense! 5 years... was a cause ever found? Are you in some kind of treatment program? I sadly don't see anything either

    Hi Babynmr3,
That’s so sweet of you to reply. No cause has been found. We’re both completely healthy. It feels really double-edged, because I guess having a reason why it’s not working out would feel nice right now. But we’re going to keep trying.
We started IVF last year, but unfortunately, I developed heart rhythm issues as a side effect. So we’ve stopped that (for now).

    Wow, that's intense, Nina!
It must feel so overwhelming to have such a big wish come true with that as a side effect
I really wished it for you. What did you see yourself? A shadow line?

How frustrating that no cause has been found. Seems extra difficult because you don't know what you can do about it now

@Nina: I know that feeling, wanting to get pregnant and it just doesn’t happen… we took 2.5 years for our first baby… now pregnant with number 2 and it also took 2 years…

Hopefully you’ll have a positive test soon!

    Hi Nina,
At first, I was still doubting, but now I wonder if I'm imagining things because of that strong line next to it.
On the rest, I don't see anything, but those are the same photos, right? My story is really strange! I hope you get clarity soon, and from me too, I wish you a healthy baby as soon as possible! I hope it's granted to you.
Have you ever used ovulation tests?
  13. Anonymous Guest #14

@zusss, I did indeed think I saw a faint line. But maybe I just imagined it because I want it so much!
@babynr3, that's so frustrating! I feel like we've tried everything. But we can't give up, the desire is just too big for that
@mama_elke, thank you for your kind words. We're also hoping for a positive test!
@Flo, yes, they're all the same photos. I also thought I saw a faint line quite far away. But I don't dare to hope anymore. We use ovulation tests every month. I've managed to find my ovulation by now. But unfortunately, no success so far.

    Hi Flo,
    Yeah, that was me above!
I didn’t test anymore, I figured it’d be negative anyway. Maybe I’ll try again tomorrow morning or over the weekend. Though I’m almost too scared to.
Oh, you see a line too! I really thought I was imagining it haha. But maybe it’s a faint one. Though that seems unlikely within 5 minutes.
  15. Nijntje #16

@nina when was/is your due date again?
  16. Nina started this #17

@babynr3 I was expecting my period on Monday. I was also using ovulation tests. But maybe I didn't read them correctly? I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm still not on my period yet.
  17. Flo #18

I'm rooting for you, keep us posted!
  18. Nijntje #19

@nina, wouldn't you expect the line to be darker? What kind of ovulation tests have you used? How many cycles have you been using ovulation tests for?
  19. Nina started this #20

@babynr3 I did expect the line to be darker! But I can't give up hope yet, maybe against better judgment.
@Flo I'll keep you posted. Thanks!
