Good evening. I'm Laurence, I'm 38 and I work as a speech therapist. I've been married for 7 years to my man, who is 3 years younger than me. We'd like children, but not too many. If we want kids, I think we should maybe start thinking about it. We currently have 2 dogs and we're already quite busy with them. If a child were to come, we'd definitely need a babysitter/nanny. My husband is also very busy with his business. What do you all think?

Not meant to be rude, but this doesn’t sound like you’re really ready for it or truly committed to going for it.

Reading your post, I think if you already say you're busy with 2 dogs, imagine adding a baby to that. Then you'll have even more on your plate. It's certainly not impossible though. And a babysitter/nanny doesn't have to be an obstacle; you can probably find one. And regarding your husband and his business... well, maybe he should spend a bit less time on the business when a baby comes. After all, you become parents together.

Hearing you talk, I also don’t think you’re fully on board with this... It’s not nothing that’s changing in your life, and it’s not just for a little while...
