hey girls,
I'm dealing with a little problem and I really don't know what to do now. Have you guys had experience with this or any tips? That would help so much. Here's my story.
About 2 weeks ago I took a test which showed a faint, vague second line after about 5 minutes. It was from the Action. I always heard super positive things about these tests, aside from the fact that they are very cheap.
This was a few days before my then-boyfriend and I broke up. I didn't really do much with it, I just looked at it but for some reason I didn't take a photo and just threw it away. From the test until we broke up we hadn't seen each other anymore so I just let it go.
Shortly after that I started getting certain symptoms.. I thought this was because I was still upset about the end of the relationship but these complaints kept persisting. I've spoken to him now and I'm over it but the complaints remain.
Nauseous, always feeling like vomiting, no appetite, dizzy, headache, very low blood pressure and extremely tired. I need about 9 to 10 hours of sleep now to be able to do normal things a bit.
I've been eating a bit better for a few days now and only eating what I feel like at that moment. But I still have the complaints and am still very tired even though I sleep well. Well, I stopped the pill right after the relationship ended and because I took it continuously for 3 months it often takes a week before I get my period and it lasts a week too. Stopped the pill on Friday and Sunday morning a small bleed, not much and it only lasted 3 days and then it was over...
It's been a week now and I told my ex where I'm at and he doesn't believe me. In the meantime I've done 3 different tests from different brands but all nothing,. Action, Kruidvat and Clea Blue digital. The last one took a long time before it showed anything. All negative but I really feel different than normal and I've become much more careful unconsciously with certain things like, smoking, I hardly drink anymore and I'm more careful when I'm with friends and at work.

I find all this crazy and my ex told me to just call the GP which I did... it was an intern who got all the questions whispered to him by the assistant. Don't get me wrong but it didn't really come across as if I was being understood while I'm still really young.
I explained the situation and told him that and it might sound crazy but I had a line on my stomach. I don't know exactly what you call this but usually this comes later in pregnancy, the doctor said that too. Then he asked if I felt anything different in my breasts and I just told him the color but nothing else. That was also the only question and then I was told...
You might just be imagining it because it doesn't seem like we're talking about a pregnancy to me.. to which I replied what do you mean. Yes it's possible you want it and that's why you have all those symptoms in your head and thus get them too. I then said madam sorry you ask my birth date 2003 and I'm no longer together with this person so explain to me why I would make all this up in my head... to which I got the answer do a home test in 2 days otherwise you can have a urine test done here you know it was performed well.. I wanted to have my blood tested but I just left it. Also I sometimes have a few drops of blood spotting in the morning that is normal
anyone,,, have you guys had experience with this? or any advice? because I don't know what to do with this and I really feel very different than normal. Is it okay for a doctor's assistant to react like that and is there a chance I'm pregnant or do I have phantom pregnancy (they call it that but I don't know how you spell it). This is if you've been trying for a long time and really want it but that's not the case I like children and I'd really like to have one myself in a few years but not now and not from my ex....

The chance that you're pregnant is small because you were on the pill. It prevents ovulation, so even if you missed one pill, no egg was suddenly released.
The symptoms seem more like withdrawal from stopping the pill, hormones, etc. Good luck with processing the ended relationship and your changing body!

Hey girls, thanks for the replies! I've forgotten the pill a few times because of drunk nights. I also don't know if alcohol generally has an influence on it, but I think I'll just get tested by the GP...
