Big doubts

I don't know anymore.
I used to always say I didn't want kids. Then suddenly it became that I wanted kids before I turned 30.

I'm now late 20s and about 7 weeks pregnant. And now I'm doubting whether I really want this.
My boyfriend is younger than me and he says he's not ready for it and would rather not have it. He wants to get things in order first, which is of course logical.

I have things somewhat more in order myself, but now I don't know if I really want this. I can't see myself with a child yet and I also don't know if I'll see myself with one in a few years. When I see small children or someone with a stroller, I feel nothing.

Is this a phase, will it pass? I don't know what to do now.
My boyfriend doesn't directly say I should get rid of it or anything like that; he says the choice is mine and that he'll learn to live with it. But what good is that to me now?

It's a choice you have to make. One that you won't regret. Maybe you can talk it over with someone you trust.

    What a tough situation.
Actually, I think it's really sweet and mature of your partner. He has his preference but doesn't force it on you. I think he's right: it's your body and therefore your choice.
And yes...you really have to make that choice yourself! You can go to people who are professionals in this area. I would first go to my GP and share my story. And I would ask if the GP knows someone who can support you in making your choice.
Wishing you lots of success...you'll surely know what's right for you in the end!!!
