Arthur?

What do you think of the name Arthur... my boyfriend thinks it's a really nice name, and I'm starting to get used to it too. Still, I keep doubting, is it not too old-fashioned or too "hockey"? We'd like an original name that also sounds good in English....

    I think it's a name that has something special! My nephew's little boy has a name that really stands out!
    Ard is very short and concise and spelled with a D instead of a T.

    I find it a bit too old-fashioned; it immediately reminds me of "King Arthur"..

    But I also love names that sound English! Bowen, Zion, Elijah, Eden..

    It's mostly important that you both find it beautiful!!

    We have an Arthur and I still think it's such a beautiful name!
    BUT a name is very personal. We're now pregnant with our third child and just can't figure out the name. We've actually chosen one, but I'm afraid of the reactions.
    Stupid, really, because you should just find it beautiful.
    Otherwise, take a look at the list of the craziest baby names—believe me, then Arthur is truly BEAUTIFUL!!!!
