Pain days after period

I had a faint positive pregnancy test 4 days before my expected period. 2 days before my expected period, I got my period anyway, and then the tests turned negative. I was on my period for 3 days. Then I had no bleeding for 2 days. And today I had a tiny bit of brown blood a few times, along with quite painful cramps. I really had to sit down at work.
Is this normal?
