Dark blood loss between ovulation and menstruation (not implantation bleeding)
EsZuGuest ·
Hi everyone,
I'm 28 and have been menstruating since I was 13. Because I always suffered from heavy bleeding (and the accompanying period pain), I started the pill almost immediately. My cycle has always been very stable.
I stopped the pill on January 1st. My cycle became stable right away: 14 days after ovulation, I got my period, which lasted for 5 days.
I've been trying to get pregnant for 2 months now, and here's the weird part: 7-8 days after ovulation, I start losing a little bit of brown/greyish blood. This continues until the day I'm supposed to get my period, and then I do. I don't have cramps or anything like that, and the bleeding gets heavier each time after about 2 days. The first time, I didn't think much of it, but now it's happening again. I've never had this in 15 years. At first, I thought (or rather, hoped) it was implantation bleeding, but it doesn't seem to be, because the bleeding gets heavier instead of lighter. Google only brings up implantation bleeding or things about bleeding during pregnancy.
Does anyone recognize this, or should I go to the gynecologist just to be sure? I'm feeling a bit anxious, I realize.
