Waiting for a new cycle after a natural miscarriage

Hey,
I got my period on my normal cycle days. It was short and lasted only 1 day, after which there was a hellish week of bleeding. After a blood test at the doctor's office, it turned out I had been pregnant, but the pregnancy was naturally terminated during the days of my period.
I've always had a normal cycle of 28-30 days. Now they're already back but nothing yet... is this positive or should it take longer for my period to come back... is my body just confused?
