11 DPO ovulation test

Hi! I'm 11 DPO today and I ran out of pregnancy tests. I read here that an ovulation test can show a positive result when you're pregnant. I'm sure about my ovulation because I had clear OPK tests. I know my test isn't fully positive, but it's pretty dark though... I was wondering if anyone has experience with this? Thanks in advance!

With both of my miscarriages, I did indeed test positive on the LH test beforehand, and if I wasn't pregnant, it was just a very faint line, so for me, this theory holds up. But the best thing is to just do a pregnancy test so you know for sure.

    Thanks for your reply, Saar,
I just bought a 2v5 but unfortunately it was negative. Maybe too early, maybe too much drinking, maybe not pregnant, who knows?

It's true that if your ovulation test is positive as your period approaches, you might be pregnant.

Did you test with a regular test (25 HCG) or an early test (10 HCG)?

    Hi Orchidea,

I tested with the Kruidvat 2v5. The leaflet says 25 mIU, but I often read here that it's 8 mIU??

I also had a positive ovulation test, but I did a pregnancy test right after at 8 dpo and it was negative. I tested again on 9 dpo and it was positive. Now I'm 17 weeks pregnant.

    Hi Gemma,
That sounds hopeful! I'll try to hold out as long as possible so I don't test until it's absolutely necessary. Tomorrow I've got an early shift anyway, and I don't have any tests. Friday is my due date.
