Period after IUD question

I got my period for the first time in 5 years after having an IUD (before that, I was pregnant with my daughter). So I hadn't had a period for 6 years in total.
I had the IUD removed 2 weeks ago because we want another child. Now, however, I've been bleeding for 7 days already, and it's quite intense...
It started on June 1st with light bleeding. After day 2, I started passing real blood clots, which lasted for about 5 to 6 days. Does anyone know what this could be? Some "pieces" were a few cm in size.
Has anyone experienced this? Should I do something about it, or is it normal? How long after having the IUD removed were you pregnant?

Hi!
I had my IUD removed on the 30th/6th, and then bled for two days. On 3/8 I had a good period for 6 days, and now nothing... still waiting.
So I don’t know when my period will come back because I barely had any bleeding while I had the IUD.
